First, I felt a bit disappointed because our room's window faced a lichthof inside. But then I realized that is was not a "bug" but a "feature" because this way we slept in relative silence after 20000 steps a day. Streets there are busy and loud even in the nighttime, it's better to stay isolated while resting.

The location of the hotel is super, just 2 minutes walk from the Barceloneta metro station and close to different bus stops. Also, the hotel is very close to Barceloneta beach, 15 minutes walk or bus. The room was very clean, good dimension, the beds comfortable. The staff was nice; they kept our luggage after check-out and and booked the taxi for us to the airport efficiently. A really nice stay, I recommend it!

The location was exceptional; extremely close to the most attractive areas in historic Barcelona while also being near some of the best beaches and port. We had the best experience with the hotel meeting our requests prior to arrival with them providing us with a room with a private rooftop balcony where we enjoyed mornings and lunches eating local chorizo, cheeses and bread from the local market just around the corner. From the balcony, we could see all of Port Vell, the beaches, the gothic quarter with Santa Maria del Mar, downtown Barcelona, and even Sagrada Familia with a 270 degree panorama. The room was very clean and well temperature-regulated. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful in making great restaurant/tapas recommendations and also arranging some transportation for us.

Great location near metro, bus, trains, SEA, beach and long seafront, party sea area. Hotel has great feel of old historic building. Bed was comfortable, there were additional pillows. Bathroom was nice. Breakfast was great, had vegetables, fruits, meats, cheese, jamon, juices and cofee.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the marble floors throughout the hotel. Beds were very comfortable, and the shower worked well. Small fridge in the room also worked well. Breakfast buffet was excellent (Cruzmeli the host was very pleasant). Location was very centrally located to all of the things we wanted to see in Barcelona. Seems to be in a good area. There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel, and taxis/uber rides were easy to find. There is a self-service laundry or 'bugateria' about a block away from the hotel that was very reasonably priced.

Comfortable room. The location is great, in about 15 min walking distance from the beach, from placa Catalunia, Citadel park and from the Barcelona aquarium. There are few publick transport bus stops near to the hotel. You can take ticket for the hop-on-hop off buses from the hotel's reception. The breakfast is good.

The view from the terrace is great, and the breakfast was really good. Friendly staff that always greeted us with a smile. The rooms are not the largest, but it worked perfectly for two people to stay.

Hotel stuff is welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet had many choices and was very tasty. Excellent location: very close to Barceloneta beach with many restaurants around. Easy walk to Gothic quarter, La Rambla, Ciutadella park. 20 minutes walk to Pl. de Catalunya, there you can catch the bus to the airport (A1 or A2). Accros the square in front of the hotel is bus stop, bus V19 goes to La Sagrada Familia and Guell park.
